MRS. KATRINA RUFFIN:
Katrina Ruffin is an Executive Sales leader with over 16 years of experience and a strong track record of driving growth in both large and emerging companies in the healthcare and life-sciences industry. She has built and managed successful Sales teams. Katrina started her career in 1993 in Shreveport, La. as Director of Marketing for PTS Physical Therapy Services. Because of her successful sales track record she was promoted to Assistant Administrator of PTS. She was responsible for business development and sales. During her seven year tenure at PTS, she oversaw the transition of the company’s largest book of business from a non profitable customer segment to one that contributed significantly to the overall performance of the company. She was also instrumental in integrating PTS Transportation Services and CMAT (a printing company) to PTS Holding Companies which became one of the cities largest mergers in the healthcare industry. While at PTS, she also served as the Vice President of Sales for PTS’s clinical trials business, working closely with the company’s president to develop satellite therapy clinics in senior living environments.
In 2000 Katrina moved to Atlanta, Ga. and began working for emerging companies in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and durable medical equipment, leveraging her sales experience in all three areas. During this period, she worked for both public and privately held organizations, consistently exceeding expectations as a top producing sale person, with a proven track record.
Katrina is the owner of KLR _ HEALTHCARE a Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations Firm. In today’s highly competitive and fast-paced healthcare market, companies need strong and aggressive sales/marketing teams and partnership with physicians to meet ever-changing business development goals. That’s the goal of KLR _ HEALTHCARE. The firm was started in mid 2000 and it’s still reaching new height!
Katrina is also a Fine Art Broker when she is not working. She owns a private Loft style fine art gallery. Katrina enjoys traveling, reading collecting fine art, exercising, spiritual, theater and jazz, and community service.
